Apple released the first beta of 4.3 iOS

Surprise! Apple just released the first beta of 4.3 accompanied by SKD iOS 4.3 for developers.

A major new feature is the inclusion of new multitouch gestures on the iPhone iPad although there is no evidence that such gestures are incorporated.

Another story, but more unpleasant is that the beta of 4.3 does not iOS has been released for the iPhone 3G which means that Apple will not offer further updates of firmware for this model. Therefore, iOS 4.2.1 could be the latest firmware for iPhone 3G.
