Apple's break with AT & T was seen coming for some time and so, today was expected to present the iPhone 4 Verizon.
These are the reasons that might have led to break Apple's iPhone exclusivity to AT & T:
- Constant coverage problems.
- Insufficient 3G data network. The rate at which customers can surf AT & T with an iPhone is quite poor.
- Saturation in large urban centers like Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York, where iPhone users came to despair of not being able to use their mobile phones.
- The Iphone 4 began to be sold without a contract tying him to the world.
- Growing customer dissatisfaction with AT & T contract conditions and high prices of monthly bills.
- Restrictions recent AT & T raising rates, eliminating the unlimited messaging and more money by charging users who use the Internet more.
- Several surveys conducted in recent years would put AT & T as the U.S. company with more dissatisfied customers. His image has been devalued over recent years and Apple can not afford to be connected to such a company.
- A growing smartphone market needs more points of connection to the Internet.
All these causes have been listed that have caused this break was imminent for years. As Verizon reported today, the operator had made contact with Apple two years ago.
