Tutorial: Jailbreak iOS 6.1 with Evasi0n (Windows and Mac)

We already have the tools to jailbreak our devices with iOS 6, we will see the simple steps to get the jailbreak untethered.

Need:

Download Evasi0n:

• Windows (Hotfile alternative link)
• Mac (Hotfile alternative link)
• Linux

Firmware compatible:

• iOS 6.0
• iOS 6.0.1
• iOS 6.0.2
• iOS 6.1

Supported devices:

• iPhone 3Gs
• iPhone 4
• iPhone 4s
• iPhone 5
• iPod Touch 4th generation
• 5th generation iPod Touch
• iPad 2
• iPad 3
• iPad 4
• iPad mini

Tutorial:

Update your device to iOS 6.1 if you have not (you must do this through iTunes, not from the device itself)

Download Evasi0n:

• Windows (Hotfile alternative link)
• Mac (Hotfile alternative link)
• Linux

Runs Evasi0n

(In Windows run as administrator. Mountain Lion In Mac OSX pressing Ctrl + click to open)

Connect your iPhone

Click Jailbreak

When you see the message "To continue, please unlock"

Unlock your iPhone and click on the "Jailbreak" is in the Springboard without disconnecting it.

Your iPhone will reboot several times and the program will tell you that the process has been completed.

Now to unlock the Springboard you will find Cydia installed.
