Following the launch of the new version of iTunes - iTunes 11 -, Apple has updated iTunes Remote, which complements the iTunes application that runs on the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch as a remote control application.
It is fully compatible with iTunes 11, and has been redesigned for even better manage playlists and content downloaded from iTunes. But it only works on the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, but also on the computer and the Apple TV. Ready for the news?
With Remote updating iTunes can perform, among others, any of the following:
- Control iTunes from any area of the house (as long as the device is connected to a wireless network).
- View and manage all the songs in the playlist.
- Create and delete lists of the library.
- Control iTunes to send music to AirPlay speakers.
