The VAT rise on Apple products

As you know, today, September 1, takes effect the VAT increase to 21% in Spain and prices of Apple products already have been affected. Want to know how much it costs now an iPhone? A iPad? Or an iMac? You want to know the price difference?

Well, the price of the iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad go from 185, 349 and 399 euros, respectively, 190, 358 and 410 euros. Moreover, the new iPad will now cost 492 euros. And the price of Mac Mini, MacBook Air, iMac, MacBook Pro and Mac Pro pass of 599, 1049, 1145, 1249 and 2599 euros, in order of mention, 614, 1075, 1174, 1281 and 2665 euros.

However, at least for now, there are prices that do not vary as app stores, movies, music and books, which could be because these prices are managed by iTunes from its headquarters in Luxembourg, which has not come into force no VAT hike.

Thus enters into force a tax increase that, although apparently not an exaggeration, yes will be apparent to the pocket of many.
