The new iOS Maps application is causing much controversy in June, users understand that Americans defend it, but in Spain, for example we have lost a lot of definition and quality is undeniable.
Many miss the Google application, and there is already talk that we may have a version in the App Store soon. Meanwhile it is (as always) the jailbreak which will give us what "Apple takes away". It seems that the hacker Ryan Petrich has managed to port Google maps iOS iOS 5 to 6. In the video you can see it works.
Obviously we need to install jailbreak for now only available for iPhone 4 and 3GS and it's tethered, so to use it in other devices will have to wait. This port still has some bugs, but according to its author we enjoy very soon in Cydia.
