For the second time so far this year, police in the city of New York has issued a report which highlights that Apple products are still the main target of robbers and thieves in the territory. In fact, theft related Apple branded devices have increased by 40% last year.
Between 1 January this year until September 23 11 447 complaints were registered in various police stations in the city, all related to thefts of iPhones, iPods and iPads. This sum represents a dramatic growth over that recorded last year: a total of 3,280 complaints throughout 2011.
Today, the best option to try to recover a stolen device is still 'Find My iPhone'.
