Apple this week announced new signing for the company. Following the departure unexpected Ron Johnson, Apple's vice president of facilities until a few months, the company has joined forces to find a key figure to continue the great work of Johnson.
The new vice president of retail will be that until now was CEO of a small technology company in the UK, John Browett. In his hands is the responsibility of innovating establishments Apple, the expansion of its stores across the Globes and the direction of new strategies. Will take up his new job in Cupertino next April.

CUPERTINO, California (USA) -30 January 2012 - Apple today announced that John Browett will join the company as Senior Vice President of Retail, reporting to Apple CEO Tim Cook. Browett joins Apple from a retailer Dixons Retail Technology Europe, where he has been CEO since 2007. As of April will be responsible for Apple's retail strategy and the expansion of the Retail Store Apple stores in the world.
"Our retail stores are totally focused on customer service, and John shares this commitment as any other person with whom we met," said Tim Cook, Apple's CEO. "We are excited to have him on our team providing incredible Apple retail experience."
Prior to joining Dixons Retail, Browett deempeñó various management positions at Tesco plc including the CEO of Tesco.com . Previously, he advised clients in the areas of retail and consumer goods from Boston Consulting Group. He graduated in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University and an MBA from the Wharton Business School.
