The blog has published a post iMore which claims that Apple could put aside his current 30-pin connector that is present in IOS devices, smaller one to save space inside the gadget.
This saved space is very valuable because it not only allows for a thinner device or smaller but which can be used to include other components such as, for example, a higher capacity battery.
As usual in these cases, this transition would also have a downside and that is useless to leave all accessories that use the dock port (speakers, cables, ...). The solution would be a simple adapter but have to wait to see if Apple adopts this new "micro-dock" before us out hands to the head.
