New move by Motorola against Apple. This time related to a patent on push notifications, which has meant that Germany had to disable Apple receiving e-mails that make use of these notifications.
This means that anyone iDevice user of that is within the borders of Germany, have to get your app manually address to receive your emails.
It seems that this limitation does not affect e-mails that come from external servers such as Hotmail, only affect icloud and MobileMe accounts.
Apple has disabled only push notifications for email and other applications that do work.
Of course, the Cupertino company will appeal against that decision.
You have more information in this official statement from Apple .
