[MWC 12] Movistar stop subsidizing handsets

During yesterday and in full Mobile World Congress 2012, although still unofficially, Movistar internal sources have announced that they will no longer subsidize the purchase of mobile terminals.

Yes, but we stay a bit shocked to hear the news. Apparently, they claim that the phones are financed by such entities (or by themselves, it is still unclear).

It may be a revolution of the mobile phone market in Spain. At least the "I'm leaving because they give me a phone," as a phrase that conceals marketing pure and simple, at least Movistar disappears.

And with all this, virtual operators (Simyo, Pepephone, Telstra, Myspace, etc) may get cut and have clients interested in increasing their rates.

It now remains to see if the other companies add to the cart to stop financially supporting the purchase of a terminal stays Apply yourself and "no other rolls."
