Not everyone is excited about the upcoming construction of the Apple campus in the city of Cupertino. A few weeks ago a group of area citizens showed their concern for how the building would adversely affect the environment and the impact it would have on traffic. Now is a famous architecture critic who gives his view on the building design, created by the prestigious U.S. firm Foster + Partners.
Under the column "The New Yorker", Sky Line, written by Paul Goldberger, the mothership (as christened Steve Jobs) is more like "a giant donut." The critic adds: "The building seems a bit problematic and I would say it's scary." Goldberger says the building is not connected to the human scale and that "more like an XXI century version of the Pentagon."
What is your opinion of the ' mothership '?
