AllThingsD reports that Apple's event to introduce the iPhone would be scheduled for October 4 and be held in the auditorium of the offices of Infinite Loop, Apple's headquarters located in the city of Cupertino.
An update of the news suggests that it is possible that the Oracle OpenWorld 2011, Oracle event held in San Francisco from 2 to October 6, would have reserved spaces that Apple used to use for their presentations.
