Tutorial for the downgrade 4.3.5 to 4.xx

The downgrade allows us to lose an earlier firmware. The problem is that Apple is only able to restore to the latest firmware available, so it will be necessary to generate SHSH saved. If you never had Cydia you can start saving your SHSH already bajándote TinyUmbrella from their website , hoping that someday you can make the process future, for example in IOS 5, which will not start. That being said this tutorial we focus solely on IOS 4.

If you inadvertently updated to the latest official firmware, say 4.3.5 and want to go back, only be possible if we have stored on the server SHSH Saurik, ie, we must know with certainty whether or not we soon to do anything.

We proceed to enter DFU doing this button combination, straight and without hesitation.

  1. We turn off the device.
  2. 3 seconds press the lock button ...
  3. .. Hold the lock button, we press the button now home 10 seconds.
  4. We release lock button and hold the home button another 10 seconds.
Once we got to this point the device will appear to be off, will not respond to button presses.

We found that we have the hosts file pointing to the server Saurik. If you do not have much idea with TinyUmbrella can go to the advanced tab and select Set Hosts Cydia on Exit to close the program and continue the process in iTunes.

  1. Shift + Restore (Windows), Alt + Resturan (mac)
  2. We select our previous firmware, for example 4.3.3
  3. We hope to finish the process.
