The United States Senate discontent with certain applications in the AppStore

1878215252 El Senado de los Estados Unidos descontento con ciertas aplicaciones en la AppStore

Another point to be addressed in yesterday on Apple's statement before the Senate of the United States were the applications that identify roadblocks on the map. The senators expressed their dissatisfaction with the existence of tools in the AppStore that let users know which parts of the road are alcohol tests, putting in compromise road safety. RIM has already eliminated in the past this type of applications, but Apple, after several touches of attention, still keeps in his store.

An Apple representative claimed that his company is currently considering the legality of these applications and remove them if they are breaking the law. He added that police stations publish this information on their websites and applications previously only collect this official information. "I'm not aware of such information," replied one of the senators.
