Eric Fischer is the creator of this map where analysis through data from the Flickr site, the locations from which photographs are taken over parts of New York. The circle number one belongs, nothing more and nothing less, to the iconic Apple store.
No wonder that one of the areas which are more photos from the Apple store, for its unique architecture and target binding site for fans of Apple. The circle corresponds to the Rockefeller number 2, 3 at Columbus Circle and 4 to the area of Times Square.
