Mobile Reactable a musical application for iPad iPad and 2, already available in the App Store, with which we can improvise and create our own original music and intuitive way.
The application applies the concepts of modular synthesis and digital audio effects and combines them with new technologies and multi-touch interaction. Based on the same audio and graphics engine as its big brother Reactable.
Sound-producing objects:
- Players loops, with the possibility of raising our own sounds
- Synthesizers, with a wide range of tools to target
- Oscillators, for the synthesis of pure and complex tones
- Audio input to process the sound directly from the microphone of our device
Objects with effects and sound processors:
- Modifiers wave distortion, compression and "resampling"
- Delays, reverb, feedback and ping-pong
- Modulators, ring modulation, chorus and flanger
- Filters: low pass, high pass and band pass
Controller objects to modify the parameters and the behavior of other objects:
- Sequencers, with three available interfaces: step by step, matrix, and "random"
- Low Frequency Oscillators (LFO) with various waveforms available
- Accelerometer, to control any generator or effect on the movement and the tilt of the device
Global objects to modify the configuration of the entire table:
- Tempo control, to control the BPM application
- Volume control to decrease or increase in overall application
- To harmonize, to control and modify the harmony notes generated by generators and sequencers
