Nice detail of Steve Jobs to their Japanese counterparts who work at Apple.
Steve Jobs sent an email of support to all employees of Apple Japan, which recently suffered a major earthquake and tsunami history of previously unknown dimensions.
The content of the email reads:
Our team in Japan
We have been following the development of disaster in Japan. Our hearts are with you and your families, and with all your compatriots who have been touched by tragedy.
If you need time or resources to care for or visit your family, please speak with HR and we will help. Also if you are aware of the need for supplies, talk with HR and also do our best to deliver them.
Again, our hearts are with you in this unimaginable crisis.
Please take good care.
Steve and the executive team
On the other hand Apple has opened a donation to the Japanese Red Cross from iTunes, and has delayed its plans to launch the iPad 2 in Japan, until the country recovers from the disaster.
