Who take on the iPhone world from the beginning will remember the TurboSIM, a chip mounted on a thin plastic and comes in contact with our SIM (in this case MicroSim) and the phone connector.
Its function is to unlock the baseband terminal 02.10, 03.10 and 04.10 for use with any company without having to wait ultrasn0w, even without jailbreak the phone. In this video is seen as the second attempt to activate airplane mode accepts and acknowledges the Sim after a call, we assume that emergency, the company itself.
Of course we have not tested it, so not sure it works on all devices.
