INTRODUCTION:

Electronic Arts has been developing for the platform iOS some games away from its tonic for a simple and addictive gameplay.

For a couple of days and is available on the App Store Liqua Pop, a game that focuses on this new form of entertainment and we'll have to join with the bubbles of the same color to score points and make our reach as Toadie Frog top of the page.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS:

As I mentioned in the introduction, Liqua Pop is based on drops of the same color together. When we have 4 or more drops of the same color merged, will begin a timer that will exploit the resulting drop. With this timer we have several options:

  • Wait until the countdown is complete.
  • Shake the iPhone to exploit the drop without counting down (crucial technique for more complicated levels.)
  • Tap twice on the drop to restart the countdown timer. This allows us to collect more bubbles of the same color and earn more points.

If several drops exploit the same time, generate combos to help our frog to more quickly reach their target.

As we advance in levels, the drops of water can come to us with creatures that provide us with different properties. When the drop exploited, the bug will be free and will apply its power (good or bad).

The game ends when Toadie reaches the top of the page. If we fail to exploit the time drops to the game over and touch us to start the level.

GRAPHIC SECTION:

Pop In Liqua has opted for a simple graphics for anything but are neglected and the droplets and their reflexes are well made, well, its vivid colors along with Retinal Display for iPhone 4 makes the game look really good.

CONCLUSIONS:

Liqua Pop is pretty good but I do not recommend it. No grace I watch a game in which the stress rate drops to prevent leaving any type of strategy and only limits the player to move his finger and shaking the iPhone non-stop.

I'm not saying the game is bad but it does not suit my personal taste and I think it may end up getting tired after 20 minutes of play (which is just what has happened to me.)
