Apple employs more workers than a few years ago and spends more on advertising. These are the two main data revealed today in an annual document by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The number of employees has risen from 28,000 workers in 2008 to 46,600 during the past year. This number has increased, especially with the opening of new Apple stores worldwide, 26,500 people are working in some of these areas, compared with 2009, the year in which Apple used in its stores to 16,000 people.
Today, Apple has 317 stores compared to 270 which was opened last year and the company expects to open 50 new stores over the next year.
