A new patent shows how they could be iOS Widgets

Una nueva patente muestra como podrían ser los Widgets en iOS

If there is anything I miss in the iPhone are Widgets and customizable lock screen (thank goodness we have the Jailbreak ...), however, a new Apple patent may give us a good clue to how they might be iOS Widgets .

Lessons Learned from this patent is the creation of widgets from within Safari. This feature is already present in Mac OS X and allows the user to select a specific portion of the web, save it as a widget and get live updates when the original page changes. This can be very useful to put, for example, the time in our Springboard.

Note that this selection tool allows us to resize the area to form with the widget, change its position or even rotate.

Will we see something similar in iOS 5? I just hope so, meanwhile, PerPage pull HTML.
