It is said, is discussed: future updates without iTunes

Rumors come, now says that Apple may be planning to "change the chip as firmware updates are concerned, from iOS 5 and could begin to perform increasingly over-the-air. It seems hard to believe, because each firmware occupies about 700 Mb, and anyone who downloads it using 3G or 4G is enough known that data traffic and could affect the final price of the bill, but the good thing is that everything points to iOS will be updated in small packages to facilitate the updating of the device. The image of then is a simple concept.

The bad thing is that, for now, we all. Verizon is becoming the company to begin using this technology. Will look similar to the output of tethering, some telephone companies and others allow you charge for the "service."
