If you have upgraded your iPhone to IOS 4.3 and have noticed that your battery lasts just under the reason is a novelty that brings iOS 4.3: Ping. Your iPhone now has a new Push service, and as such consumes power.
So if you do not use Ping (which is most likely) we recommend that you disable it to get your battery to function as before in iOS 4.2.1.
Just go to Settings> General> Restrictions, enable restrictions, enter the password you want and disable Ping.
