Saurik has announced via Twitter that has greatly improved response times of Cydia. Cydia speed has always been one of the factors against it, but the fault is that each application or tweak is housed in a different place in an external repository Saurik server, if it could accommodate all on the same server would much faster.
Saurik still has managed to lower the waiting time of requests for 0.45 seconds to 0.25 seconds. The charts above show the results of the last three months.
