Since the beginning of the AppStore, have been dragging some controversy over the voting system, classification of downloads or applications for reviews in the applications to be crossed out, for some, fraudulent.
The fact is that today, long time ago the launch of the AppStore and yet, we keep finding things like this image:
The question in this image is that we are, nothing more and nothing less, with the application that occupies the tenth position in the Top Free Applications, the application "+ Free Night Vision." This application, with almost 50 votes, all 1-star gives a total balance, according to the AppStore, 2 stars.
It is probably a "mistake", or someone who voted with two stars but, if in this last way, would not that be more voters than 2 stars out of 1 to 2 on average? Well, read all the comments, leaving the implementation up to the bitumen (and reason are not worth anything) I conclude that it is entirely unlikely to have 2 stars on average, but someone had placed 2 stars without comment. Would not it be logical to find 50 reviews with 1 star and over 50 other without comment and more than 2 stars.
As this example, you can find many more throughout the AppStore. Now, was it a mistake? And if the answer is yes what point do we handle the marketing of Apple if it is able to "fool" in our faces with such impudence? Can anyone believe that the application list "top" is not completely manipulated? What sense does it do this?
