Apple just released version 3.2 of its configuration tool for the iPhone that lets you create, encrypt and easily install configuration profiles, install monitoring and data profiles and authorized applications, and capture device information (including console logs) .
Configuration profiles are XML files that contain device security policies and restrictions of devices, configuration information for the VPN, Wi-Fi settings, email accounts and calendar, and authentication credentials that allow you to use the iPhone and iPod touch in their business systems.
With this software, business users will be able to create configuration profiles which can be used to install multiple terminals.
The tool is free and takes up 10.2 MB of disk space.
