6 months ago Apple introduced an API for developers who detected the jailbreak. You as a developer could put in your application and decide for example that will not work on jailbroken devices, a risky move since many worship the jailbreak and not use it to illegally download applications, but at the end of the day was up to the developer.
In iOS 4.2 Apple has removed that option, with the consequent discomfort of all the included developers who do not understand why Apple works in favor of modifying your phone.
Will the recent legalization of jailbreak the cause of this change?
