Although still not reached the update that adds video call service based on Skype, Facebook Messenger just updated to version 1.7 to add new features to this application for instant messaging.
This new update allows us to send SMS for free but need a data connection required. To communicate with our contacts need not be at the computer, can read it later.
Another novelty is the incorporation of a small notification icon that tells us who has read the message we sent and who is not. Now we can also see where we write our friends and see if they are using the keyboard to answer us.
Finally, bugs have been fixed to improve stability and performance of the application.
