Apple now has over 60,000 employees and has 357 stores around the world

Apple has filed with the U.S. government its annual report, 10-K, which reports the performance of the company during the last fiscal year. The figures, again, again greatly exceed those of last year. The company has grown from 49,400 employees working full time to 60,400, thanks largely to the opening of new national and international stores .

Only during this year, Apple has opened 40 stores (going from the 317 last year to the current 357). And these numbers will only increase over time because the company has provided dozens of openings around the world before the end of 2011.

Finally, the company's shares have risen throughout the year until it reached one of the most valuable international stock market.
