Tutorial: IOS jailbreak 4.1 with Sn0wbreeze 2.1 (Windows)

Sn0wbreeze 2.1 can be defined as "Pwnage Tool for Windows, because it allows iOS jailbreak 4.1 using a custom firmware that is installed with iTunes. This keeps the baseband.

(If you have already upgraded to 4.1 can not keep the baseband, you can not download it and you can not unlock your iPhone)

Compatibility:

Need:

• Windows operating system (7, Vista, XP);
• Sn0wbreeze 2.1 for Windows ( download )
• iOS 4.1 of your device ( download )

TUTORIAL:

1. Open Snowbreeze 2.1 and click OK in the first message that appears.

2. At this time the screen shows the credits. Close this window by clicking on "Closing Credits". Then select the expert mode and click the blue arrow to continue.

3. We are in the main screen Sn0wbreeze 2.1. Click the blue arrow in the bottom right to continue.

4. Click Browse and locate the original firmware 4.1 that you downloaded to your PC.

Sn0wbreeze verify that the firmware you selected is correct.

5. Once you recognize the firmware on the next screen you will see the model of device you want to jailbreak. Now vuevaa click the blue arrow to continue.

6. Come to a page that allows you to access different functions.

Click General and click to activate the iPhone if you need hacktivation (if your iPhone does not use the original sim in your company)

All other elements are optional and used for backgrounds, multi-tasking and the battery percentage (from devices not natively support these features.) You can also change the system partition dedicated to programs of Cydia.

Ultrasn0w not be installed automatically for the time being due to some problems between MuscleNerd (author of the program) and iH8sn0w. Once you have completed the changes in this section, click the blue arrow.

7. On the next screen you can add packages and repositories in Cydia and avoid doing it manually using the iPhone at a later time. Finish in this case the changes, click the blue arrow.

8. Click Create IPSW and click Next.

The program will begin creating the custom firmware based on parameters you set.

9. Once finished you should place the iPhone in DFU mode. Sn0wbreeze will show you the steps.

10. Now iTunes will detect an iPhone in recovery mode. To install the new custom firmware by pressing simultaneously the SHIFT key on the keyboard and press Restore in iTunes.

11. Now selcinone firmware custom created earlier and wait a few minutes for the process is complete.

12. Done. Now we have our iPhone jailbreak, is just open Cydia and install ultrasn0w to release.
