IOS 4.2.1, users have to print AirPrint from the iPad. What printers are supported? Read on to find out.
As already announced, AirPrint is one of the new features the new 4.2 iOS iPad that allows certain wireless printers print directly from your device. Originally AirPrint would also support the impression that you had shared printers on your local network, but this feature was removed shortly before the release of IOS 4.2 for iPad.
AirPrint currently only compatible with printers that have wifi, and only for a very small group. At the moment, the list consists of seven printers all of the HP brand.
The list of supported printers of today is:
HP Envy eAll-in-One series (D410a)
HP Photosmart Plus e-AiO (B210a)
HP Photosmart Premium e-AiO (C310a)
HP Photosmart Premium Fax e-AiO (C410a)
HP Photosmart e-AiO (D110)
HP Photosmart Wireless e-AiO (B110)-Europe and Asia-Pacific
HP Photosmart eStation (C510)
As you can see, all are of the HP brand.
