As you all know Apple's mobile devices have the same password to access by "SSH", which, if you use it regularly, may pose a risk to the security of your device, and is so easy to fix as you will see below .
Needless to say, this tutorial is only for jailbroken iPhones, since it is the only way to have installed OpenSSH on your iPhone, iPod or iPad.
We will use "MobileTerminal" to change directly from our iPhone, it will install from Cydia.
We also need to have installed "OpenSSH".
- In _MobileTerminal type "su root" (without quotes)
- We ask for the password (password), type "alpine" (the default password)
- To clean the screen type "_cd" (without low bar)
- To change your password type "passwd"
- Enter your password (not displayed as you type for security)
- Re-enter your password again
And that's it, so easy is to avoid take a dislike, such as a malicious user can remotely access your iPhone or that a malicious process ("virus") to run, because you will need this password, the parties agree that since there was a "virus" for the iPhone that you changed the wallpaper just to show this security hole.
