Yesterday we announced that Skyfire, a browser that can display videos in Flash format, was adopted by Apple and now, the browser is now available for download from the App Store.

I have been trying for half an hour of application and the truth is that I am quite disappointed. The inability to view flash content and limit its use to viewing videos is their main problem, also, sites like Megavideo not work because the browser detects that a video player, tries to load but eventually did not play.

In addition, flash videos compatible with that previously loaded completely before you can view them as data consumption increases and the sailing time as well (according to the developers, the videos can take between 15 and 25 seconds to load).

Skyfire operation is simple due to its similarity with Safari Mobile.

On the top bar we will have a field to enter web addresses, one for searching (Google, Wikipedia or videos) and, finally, there is a button that allows us to start private browsing and viewing the sites in mobile format or version desktop.

In the bottom bar have dedicated buttons to navigate backwards, history, open new window, view flash video, enter search terms or to share via Facebook.

Skyfire has a price of 2.39 euros and you can download from the App Store by clicking on the image below:
