While Apple announced iOS 4.2 for the month of November (unspecified date), internet rumors pointed to its launch in the first half. This week they said they would leave on Friday and now, to be released next Tuesday, June 16.
The reason for the delay may be a bug of compatibility with the iPad would be causing problems in the wireless settings of the device.
Again, everything is a rumor based on the Internet but with potential sources who work for Apple.
