Apple has started selling gift cards for iBooks. The U.S. minimum price is $ 25 and currently is sold in supermarkets and electronics stores. With this card you can give a person the purchase of any book (s) they want in order to read iBook Store both the iPhone or the iPad.
While gift cards are not currently available from Apple's official website, yes you can buy at any store or dealer.
