Analysis: "Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit"

INTRODUCTION:

We have among us the new driving title, developed by Electronic Arts: Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit. This new installment in the NFS series aims to bring the best of police chases our iPhone so leed analysis of the game until the end because we are many developments in store.

FIRST STEPS:

Like other games in the series Need For Speed, the game begins with an impressive cinematic lasts about 30 seconds and then start a career in which we made a small tutorial to learn the basics of the game.

MAIN MENU:

The main menu is quite attractive but not practical, and that to access the different options we have to swipe your finger over and over again, the lower left corner of the screen.

In this screen we have access to:

• Play a story is the story mode in which we must complete a total of 48 events spread over different locations.
• Fast track: this option is the quickest way to play a career. In this way we can select the type of career (interception or power struggle), environment (mountains, desert and coastal) and climate (day, night, storm).
• Local Multiplayer: To play with other rivals using WI-FI connectivity.
• Statistics: In this section we will see our progress through the story mode and achievements completed.
• Options: here you can change the language of the game and sound levels.

MAIN STORY:

Completing events we will be receiving sums of money that will allow us to buy new cars and go up in level to unlock new evidence. There will be games in which play the role of the police while in other fugitives and will have to escape the police who put us different road blocks to stop.

GRAPHICS:

The game is not bad but I expected something more. Although modeling and scenarios cars is pretty good, the texture leaves something to be desired. Still, this Need For Speed is above average compared to other car games.

SOUND:

It is noted that this is a game from Electronic Arts. The soundtrack is very careful and playis full of sound effects that recreate perfectly the different situations that occur during races, yes, no engine sounds real because they are not.

INTERFACE:

As I mentioned before, the interface is very nice but not very useful because it is full of animations that make us lose time continuously.

OTHER ISSUES:

This game takes around 390MB of memory space on iPhone.

Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit is now available in some App Store at a price of 3.99 euros. Spain is expected that the game is available throughout the day tomorrow. Update the post when the download is available to everyone.
