Preparing your iPad, iPad Mini and iPhone 5 Untethered Jailbreak for iOS 6.1

The arrival of the untethered jailbreak for iOS 6.1 is imminent. If there is nothing that you delay, the first jailbreak for the latest Apple operating system for handheld devices come this Sunday to coincide with an important event in the U.S. as the Super Bowl.

Hackers have been waiting for Apple to publish officially announced iOS 6.1 for the jailbreak, as they were afraid that the company could "cover" the ruling that gives them access to the operating system and apply this technique. Now that iOS 6.1 has already been released and there is no problem in applying the jailbreak is only a matter of days the tool to perform the procedure is officially released.

The list of devices compatible with iOS 6.1 Jailbreak is quite large. Specifically, all devices that support iOS 6 will be eligible for the procedure, the only exception is the third generation AppleTV, but really this device does not use the iOS version 6, but an earlier version. All other devices if they support, from the iPhone 3GS, to the newest iPhone 5 and of course all versions of iPad compatible with iOS 6, from the iPad 2 to the iPad mini.

Before the Jailbreak we take certain considerations, it is important to be certain of what we do and stop and think if you really need to perform this procedure. The Jailbreak will give us more control over the operating system and allow us to install various modifications through Cydia, but in many cases we can get the device performance plummet directly or stop working if we're not quite sure what are doing. If you still want to apply the new Jailbreak for iOS 6 should do certain things before applying.

Points to take to prepare your device for untethered Jailbreak iOS 6

The first step may be the most logical backup the device, whether iPhone, iPad, iPad mini or iPod touch. So, the first thing you should do before applying to Jailbreak iOS 6 is doing a full backup of our device. Ideally, do it through iTunes, connecting the device and selecting backup application for your computer. Furthermore, it is also possible to back up directly to iCloud, which is also highly recommended. To activate the backup or force the do at some point we get to Settings - iCloud - Storage and copy. In case we have applied the jailbreak on an earlier version of the operating system, you may need to save the installed Cydia tweaks, for this you can use the tool PkgBackup.

The next logical step is to update the device to iOS 6 . The tool Evad3rs released in a few days will be compatible with all versions of iOS 6, ie, iOS 6.0, iOS 1.6, iOS 6.0.2 and of course version 6.1 which was released just a few days ago. Our recommendation is to actualize the latest release, the 6.1 and whenever possible to upgrade through iTunes and not from the option OTA (Over The Air) as in times past, the OTA update caused problems when applied after the Jailbreak.

Many times we forget the basics. One of the requirements and considerations apply to Jailbreak iOS 6 will be available with a USB cable compatible with your device. Locate the USB cable from your iOS device and verify that it works correctly, probably using it often, but it is worth remembering for those who sync their devices wirelessly and perhaps use some kind of dock with speakers or similar to load the iDevice battery in question.

After completing these steps, we just have to wait to release Evad3rs evasi0n , the new application to perform untethered Jailbreak for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch with iOS 6 from virtually any computer (the tool, in theory, is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux).

22% of iOS devices already have iOS 6.1 installed

I recently learned that there are already nearly 300 million devices with iOS 6 installed, an adoption rate in just five months has made this version of the mobile operating system in the most popular of all.

According to the website TechCrunch, 22% of the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch that is in the world already have iOS 6.1. To continue at the same rate, would become the best host had among all users that Apple has released so far.

There are several reasons for increasingly faster is updated when a new version of iOS. The first one comes from the hand of OTA updates, something that anyone can perform from the device itself entering the Settings menu.

Maybe the announcement that will be compatible with iOS Evasi0n 6.1 also has helped achieve these figures as high of updates.

And you've already upgraded to iOS 6.1 or you decide you do not finish?

Lately reports and comments about the fall of Apple are stronger than ever. Every day there is any news or review talking about the fall of Apple and the end of the era in which he led the way to the consumer technology companies, especially those that manufacture mobile devices. Then we stopped to look at the reality, with official data and not hard to think that this may be so.

Right now, Apple has the strongest product portfolio that has never had. The latest economic report showed figures ever achieved by the company (or any other company in the world). Sales of most products are doing very well and also revenue through content. But even with all this, the company's shares are not doing more to lower and lower ...

20.90% of the active iPad are already running iOS 6.1

For all these reasons we should make you think things are going really well now Apple adds a new source of joy, at least for the company. The new version of iOS, version 6.1 seems to be very well accepted by users and in no time has been adopted by more than 20% of users of compatible devices.

Specifically the report issued on the basis of data from 13 million monitored devices, say 21.81% of iOS device users upgraded to the latest release before Wednesday January 30th at 15:00, when the update arrived Monday January 28.

Reeling a bit more these data, the report says that in the case of iPhone was detected the rapid adoption of the new version in 23.92% of cases, in the case of the iPad, the figure was 20.90%. Also taking into account the data of the iPod touch and doing half between them is obtained the above figure of 21.81%.

This report is published by Onswipe based on information gathered from visitors they receive on their websites, a fairly common method of obtaining such information. If this information is correct, iOS 6.1 could be being operating system faster adoption of history.

Even taking into account the bad publicity has had iOS 6, it seems that users are responding very well to the new version and you want to be always up to date and not to wait to see if the new versions have bugs that are likely to cause problems.

Is this the impression of a company in trouble to its users? Undoubtedly, this is another reason to doubt that Apple is really struggling as talking in recent months and begin to see that things are working beautifully Apple for now and possibly surprise us in a few months with a new product. A product that makes you recover hope for the Cupertino company.

It is the most common, but sometimes the Jailbreak can cause problems in the device that is being applied, yet the Jailbreak is a process that usually does not usually cause problems.

Yet we should caution and not knowing what you're doing better stop. From iPadizate we are not responsible for any problems that may arise.

Does Jailbreak Apple voids warranty?

In theory the procedure itself Jailbreak voids the warranty of the device, since we are modifying the operating system's normal operation. The reality is that many times the devices are repaired under warranty with no problem, but we can not guarantee that Apple will accept it forever.

No doubt that Jailbreak iOS 6 is something many users have been waiting a long time. It has taken longer than expected, but it is just around the corner.

Playing God with Pixel People, the new game from Chillingo

Pixel People is the new game from Chillingo where you have to play God and not just build a city pixelated, but to apply our "knowledge of advanced genetics" to cross different trades and get new ones.

Far from the difficulty that might appear, l way across to the different characters and get new is simply select an office on one side and a different one for the other, trying to find all possible combinations as we go: Mayors, Sheriffs, engineers, mechanics, policemen, artists, etc..

The game is based on the so fashionable "game time", in which we have to wait X minutes or hours while finishing genetic constructions or creations. Has over 150 different characters, not counting the 80 animals that we will unlock hidden we believe new combinations.

If you like these types of games I recommend it, because from what little I've played we are enjoying it very much, it is also completely free (with option to purchase from within the app) and is universal and compatible with iCloud, so you can continue the game on your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.
