Telcel provides formats and procedures for unlocking

So as you read, after 6 months and many customers irksome , Telcel has launched a website where you can download the forms and requirements for unlocking your computer either prepaid (Amigo Kit) or postpaid (TELCEL Plan) pursuant to NOM-184-SCFI-2012.

Basically two scenarios are summarized in

Prepaid

Fill out this form and present it in a CAC along with the following documents:

• Minimum age of six months, from the first call to complete the process of activation
line.
• Exhibit Original invoice, which must match the data entered in it (IMEI, serial No., make and model) with
those located in the computer to unlock.
• Submit official identification must match the name on the bill settled.
• If the bill was endorsed, must be accompanied by a copy of the identification of the endorser.

Postpaid or Mixed
Fill out this form and present it in a CAC along with the following documents:

• Meet the deadline established in the Plan forced and have no debts contracted with Telcel.
• Display the original invoice, for which, the data entered into it (IMEI, serial No., make and model) should
coincide with those located on the computer to unlock.
• Submit official identification must match the name on the bill settled.
• For corporations, it must display notarial instruments evidencing the applicant's attorney or
legal representative.

Now hope that Iusacell and Movistar do likewise and tell us how to proceed to meet the standard and to unlock our phones, and remember this rule applies to all cell phones, regardless of the manufacturer, and is free.
