A Report Confirms Microsoft Office for iPhone

For a long time, it has been rumored on a version of Microsoft Office for iPhone . Maybe it's because the existing solutions in the App Store do not give us all the functionality you would want, always pouring least some property.

Well, today has come a new report not only confirms the existence of this project, but who dares to put a date: November 10, 2012.

According to journalist Matt Hickey, the development team at Microsoft has finished work on the project last month, and now are evaluating the usability of the app to see how they can improve it. Once this happens, chances are they send to the App Store for approval, which usually takes a couple of weeks.

The truth is that it gives no clue as to why Apple would wait more than five months to launch, if you already have finished. They may be also working on the Android version or want to prepare well for the iPhone, so that his plan would be presented together.

The Proposal for Sim Nano from Apple is Accepted

The ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards) has decided this morning to accept the proposal from Apple on SIM cards that enable nano in the coming years, mobile phones thinner and smaller.

The other proposal was a joint solution designed by Research in Motion, Motorola and Nokia. According to the official specifications, the new nano SIM is 40% smaller, measuring 12.3 mm x 8.8 mm x 0.67 mm.

This new standard will be published in ETSI TS 102 221, available free for viewing online. Be adopted by all manufacturers and mobile operators who wish to join.

Curiously, The Verge says the standard does not explicitly specify that the proposed Apple is the winner, although looking at the specs it is clear that was what drew the apple company.

Apple has decided not to charge anything in duties, if his proposal was accepted. You will also have backward compatibility with the SIM present and past.

However, we raise the rooftops because we will not see this nano SIM in the next iPhone 5 . This is because its release is not expected to at least 2013.

Possible size comparing with the Actual iPhone 5

The Japanese blog Mactokara just post a video that compares the course of the next crystal panel 5 iPhone with the iPhone's 4 and 4S.

As we can see, the new panel is noticeably taller and slightly wider, which is consistent with other rumors we have been seeing in recent months. Diagonal, measures about 4.07 inches compared to 3.5 which measures the iPhone 4S .

The following picture shows perfectly the relationship. Indeed, it is as if the current size of the panel, added to the top with the sensors and the speaker (in white), applicable to the next panel size, higher than the current one.

In addition, the Home button does not disappear as it has been rumored, because we can see the hole prepared in the casing. Here's the video in question:

Does it seem credible? Really the iPhone 5 will be bigger?
