Tim Cook, the successor to Steve Jobs, reorganizes senior Apple

Last night, we met with the news that Tim Cook, the current CEO of Apple and Steve Jobs's successor, has filed a remodeling of the team of the U.S. firm, specifically senior officials who are (or were) on top the pyramid.

"We are in one of the most prolific periods of innovation and new products in Apple's history", said the CEO of Apple. "Los amazing products that we presented in September and October, iPhone 5, iOS 6 iPad mini, iPad , iMac, MacBook Pro, iPod Touch and iPod nano, and many of our applications, only Apple could make, and are a direct result of our relentless focus on top-notch tight integration of hardware, software and services, "added .

The changes that have occurred are, first, the start / dismissal of Scott Forstall, head of iOS, and John Browett, head of the App Store. Furthermore, as a result of the above, taking on more responsibilities in the company by Jony Ive, Bob Mansfield, Eddy Cue and Craig Federighi. As of now, the charges will be distributed as follows:

  • Jony Ive is responsible for the development of the physical devices of the firm.
  • Bob Mansfield will lead and be responsible for the technology group.
  • Eddy Cue will command Siri voice system and maps of Apple and iTunes and iCloud.
  • Craig Federighi assume command of iOS and OS X.
Also, Tim Cook has announced that he will take over the tasks performed John Browett while looking for someone who can replace.

As expected, the news has come as a surprise to the markets, even though Wall Street has now been ordered to close its doors as a result of Hurricane Sandy. So we wait to hear reopens reactions aroused by the news.
