Taiwan's Liberty Times Publishing has just released some information about an alleged iPad Mini 7.85 inches. Apparently, LG and AU Optoelectronics official certification had to start producing LCD panels of this small size tablet.
Moreover, the publication ensures that both manufacturers have factories working hard to have the panels ready for the second half of 2012. Estimated sales of iPad Mini would be 6 million units, subject to see how well they sell in Christmas. And even some websites bet that the chosen date would be this August.
According to rumor, this 7.85-inch iPad would not Retina Display, it would reduce the size of the pixels to maintain the density per inch of the original iPhone or iPad 2 . This is a resolution of 1024 x 768.
All these are rumors that although they are gaining strength, we must take with tweezers. What seems increasingly clear is that this year 2012 will see an iPhone smaller, cheaper and certainly intends to reach another segment of the population.
