qualcomm Qualcomm anuncia problemas para cumplir con la demanda de chips para smartphones

Qualcomm Inc., the company manufactures the chips for iPhones, has announced that it will have problems in the coming months to meet demand for chips due to restrictions on production. This will lead to delays in deliveries and also increase the costs of products. The company added that the delay will directly affect the production of chips for smartphones.

Given that Apple is one of the major customers of Qualcomm, the next iPhone could be delayed, so we would have to return to the same dates of the iPhone 4s: in October instead of June. A problem that will extend throughout the whole year, as reported to shareholders the main leaders of the company located in San Diego (California).

The new iPhone includes a Qualcomm chip that allows 3G and 4G (LTE) in international telephone operators. In the next iPhone might see a chip similar to this, since it is expected that has the same connection.
