Apple had planned to announce a salary increase for employees of its U.S. stores in September this year. However, to the delight of many, this date has been moved forward a few months as confirmed by John Browett on a video for the workers. Browett is the new Vice President of Retail Apple since April this year.
His predecessor, Ron Johnson (current CEO of JC Penney), there used to be in direct contact with employees of the establishments and never send videos announcing wage increases. These increases will depend on each individual establishment and will vary according to income earned in each.
It is estimated that employees at Apple stores will receive between 1% and 5% more than they currently charge.
More- arises the fear of the possible mismanagement of the new Vice President of Retail
