Since about a year ago I decided to investigate the subject of podcasts and discovered the wide variety of topics that we can find, I became interested enough in this world, and some hassle of syncing with iTunes led me to investigate alternatives, until I discovered Instacast .
And it does not require Instacast iTunes to sync and download new podcasts. Just search for a specific podcast through your browser (or you can add a feed) to add to your list, where the program itself will download new podcasts as they become available.
It has a version for iPhone / iPod Touch and one for iPad, which, although not a universal app, you have to buy it separately if you have them on both devices, where if they do, you will enjoy also synchronization icloud, so the way you'll have all your podcast sync is perfect.
You can also share the podcasts you listen to social networks, although this is a weakness of the app, since the publishing process is quite tedious.
Otherwise, I highly recommend downloading if you are fond of listening to podcasts, and also if you want to go one step further in forgetting to iTunes in this respect.
