Every day we are closer to untethered jailbreak IOS 5.1.1 and 5.1, today has gone a step further, the hacker PlanetBeing, a member of Chronic DevTeam as pod2g, has managed to solve the typical problems with iBooks books with DRM; well it has done in just hours.
These problems have appeared in recent jailbreaks all we've seen, and after a patch has come out on Cydia or have had to re-jailbreak tool used to clear the error. Personally I prefer the jailbreak few weeks later and well polished to come out now and errors.
Probably next week is released this jailbreak, will work on all devices unless the iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 3G (in addition to TV3 which as you know Apple has only a single application and is very difficult to make a jailbreak for it).
