In introducing the new iPhone, Apple surprised us with the iPhoto application for IOS devices. A tool which, in addition to our photo editing allows the geolocation of the same thanks to the service OpenStreetMap. Apple does not officially confirmed, but had severed relations with Google Maps and had spent the free system OpenStreetMap (OSM), where users from around the world are responsible for updating maps for free.
The creators of the service OpenStreetMap stated that they felt honored by that Apple would have bet on them. There was only one catch: they had not been recognized to be in the credits of the tool, iPhoto.
Apple has finally recognized the error and the latest version of iPhoto, launched on May 1, and recognizes the important role of OpenStreetMap in iPhoto.
Will you leave entirely aside Apple Google Maps in IOS 6.0 and bet on their own map application?
