Apple recently announced the results of the first quarter of 2012, reaching astronomical figures. By comparing their results with those of competitors, we see that the Cupertino company accounts for 73% of all profits from the sales of mobile phones today.
This study also included other giants like Samsung, HTC, Nokia, RIM, Sony Ericsson and LG. However, the only one who gets a certain quota is Korea's Samsung, with a modest 26%. The third is HTC, which is barely 1%.
The other companies, a few years ago were the leaders in the mobile phone market, do not get even that. Moreover, many of them have no benefits because they are in severe losses.
It seems that a good portion of those profits come from the companies have agreements with mobile operators to offer their best handsets, such as the iPhone 4S . Thanks to this, among other things, the combined profits of Samsung and Apple have tripled in the last two years.
Another interesting statistic data sheds in the business world. A study on the business network Good Technology, which brings together the world's largest companies, reveals that the six devices with more activations are of Apple, led by the iPhone 4S and followed by the iPad 2 .
Almost 80% of new terminals that activate employees of the largest companies in the world are from Apple. And the new iPhone comes with power to enforce these data in the coming months.
