Absinthe, the jailbreak for devices with chips A5 (4S iPhone and iPad 2) left three days ago, and the Dev-Team has released the approximate number of uses since then:
- iPhone 4S (new jailbreak) - 491,325
- iPad 2 (new jailbreak) - 308,967
- iPad 2 (previously jailbroken 4.x) - 152,940
This makes a total of 953,232 new jailbreaks in three days, a figure far from negligible.
Also, notice that there is a new version of the Chronic Dev, the 0.3, although only small errors areglar aesthetic and a Win32 error in very specific cases. It has already been added directly to the tutorial if anyone uses it.
To finish, not least, The Chronic Dev has announced the immediate availability of the Linux version of the program, so it's possible to use it in all three major operating system.
