Team News editors from iPhone and iPhone News Podcast we wish you a happy and prosperous new year. Leaving behind a year in which Apple has given us positive surprises, with the range of new Macs and the launch of a new product, the iPad mini, but in which we have also been occasional disappointment (eg with maps iOS 6).

2013 is a promising year. If Apple follows its usual cycle of presentations in March may saturate us with another iPad. But certainly know what more we crave is a totally revolutionary: the Apple TV, the news we have been collecting for two years.

A project that Steve Jobs himself was involved and that promises to radically change the image of television as we now conceive. Hopefully 2013 is finally the year that Apple launched the TV.

As for new iPhone, all I can hope for now is a "iPhone 5 improved," ie the iPhone 5s. Yes, expect radical changes in iOS, after the dismissal of the head of software, Scott Forstall. IOS 7 promises to give a whitewash our iOS devices.
